Bhutan Wilderness Travel was founded in 2005 by Kesang Tshering, a passionate Bhutanese who wanted to share the magic of his homeland with travelers from around the world. What began as a small operation has grown into one of Bhutan's most respected tour operators.
Unlike many tour companies, our founder invested years in obtaining international certifications, including training at the prestigious Exum Guides School in Wyoming, USA, and the International Mountain Leaders School in Switzerland. This commitment to excellence ensures that every traveler experiences Bhutan safely and authentically.
