Queen of Belgium arrives

October 31: The Queen of Belgium, Her Majesty Queen Paola is in the Kingdom on 11 days visit. Arriving at the Paro airport yesterday. Her Majesty Queen Paola was received by the Foreign Minister Lyonpo Ugyen Tshering, the Foreign Secretary Daw Penjo, other Foreign Ministry officials and Paro Dzongkhang officials.
During her stay, Her Majesty will be meeting senior officials and visiting places of historical and cultural interest.
Bhutan and Belgium started diplomatic relations last year. Bhutan also has an embassy office in Belgium.
